Multi-tasking, lockdown-style: Capital Quotient CEO balances work, household chores and fitness
Sousthav Chakrabarty believes in a daily dose of exercise, when time permits.

The fintech startup boss told ET Panache, "I set up my calendar of events and work-related discussions first thing in the morning, and place reminders on my phone, since it sometimes gets difficult to keep track of time at home."
Intermittent disruptions with home-related chores keep coming up, since being at home means there are daytime chores that also need to be contributed to, shares Chakrabarty.
"Be it cooking, cleaning, or other such activities, especially, in the absence of a domestic help, as lockdown has made them unavailable presently. Dividing the work among family members, and cycling the responsibilities help avoid fatigue and boredom," he said.
Chakrabarty believes in a daily dose of exercise, when time permits. "It is about an hour long, a combination of yoga and cardio. But when time is short, I just do some quick cardio to keep the body energised," he shared.
During lull periods when the work is slow-paced, the Capital Quotient boss catches up on old shows that he hasn't watched for a while, such as Star Trek. "Once, the lockdown ends, I plan to get into some DIY-construction-based hobbies, such as shipbuilding, puzzles, etc," he added.
