Mammootty, a true superstar! When Sri Lankan ex-captain Sanath Jayasuriya heaped praise on Indian icon

Malayalam superstar Mammootty who is known for his impressive body of work across languages commands a wide fan following across the nation. The 70-year-old actor recently visited Sri Lanka. The actor who was in the neighbouring nation to shoot for his upcoming film was greeted by the former captain of the Sri Lankan cricket team, Sanath Jayasuriya.
The ace cricketer took to his Twitter account to share pictures of his meeting with the Malayalam megastar. Jayasuriya, who was once known for his fierce batting, went on to call the actor a ‘true superstar’.
In his tweet, the former cricketer said that it was an honour for him to have met the legendary actor. Jayasuriya expressed his gratitude to the actor for visiting Sri Lanka. He went on to invite other Indian stars and friends to visit and enjoy the beauty of Sri Lanka.
