Prabhas-starrer 'Salaar' has finally got a release date. The makers announced on Monday that the movie will hit the screens worldwide on September 28, 2023.

Superstar Prabhas will be back on screen with his upcoming action thriller, 'Salaar'. Directed by the Prashanth Neel of the KGF fame, 'Salaar' has finally got a release date. The movie will hit the screens on September 28, 2023. The makers of the film announced the release date on Monday, stating the 'Era of Salaar is set to begin.'

Alongside the Baahubali actor, the mega movie will also star Shruti Haasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy and Jagapathi Babu.

'Saalar' will be released in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.


As per media reports, the movie has been shot in multiple international locations across Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

'Salaar' was earlier planned to be released in April 2022. However, the film production was unexpectedly prolonged due to the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus pandemic.

Reports suggest that the film is in its final phase of shooting. The movie is touted to be groundbreaking in terms of VFX, which is being handled by an international studio.

At the time of release, this new movie of Prabhas will lock horns with Hrithik Roshan’s 'Fighter', which also releases on September 28, 2023.

The much-awaited action movie will feature Anil Kapoor and Deepika Padukone alongside Hrithik Roshan. Fighter is being directed by Siddharth Anand.
