A brand-new week means a fresh set of movies and shows arriving on OTT platforms, and this time the South Indian lineup has something for everyone. From intense psychological thrillers and rural action dramas to light-hearted romantic comedies and experimental cinema, streaming platforms are rolling out a diverse mix of Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada content between March 2 and March 8. Whether you are in the mood for something thought-provoking or simply want an entertaining weekend watch, the options are plenty.

Gandhi Talks – ZEE5 (March 6)
Gandhi Talks is one of the most unique releases of the week. Starring Vijay Sethupathi, the film is a silent drama that depends entirely on expressions, body language and music to tell its story. With music composed by A. R. Rahman, the narrative follows an unemployed graduate whose life collides with that of a wealthy businessman facing personal struggles. Aditi Rao Hydari and Arvind Swamy play important roles.




Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi – Aha Video (March 4)
Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi is a Telugu satirical comedy-drama directed by AR Sajeev. Featuring Tharun Bhascker and Eesha Rebba, the film explores the journey of a young woman stuck in a patriarchal setup. After enduring abuse in marriage, she decides to take a stand for herself. The movie is the official Telugu remake of the Malayalam hit Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey and retains its core theme of empowerment.

Jockey – Amazon Prime Video (March 6)
Jockey is a Tamil sports action drama rooted in the rural culture of Madurai. Revolving around goat-fighting traditions, the film combines rivalry, emotion and local flavour to deliver a raw cinematic experience.

Granny – SunNXT (March 6)
Granny falls in the horror-thriller genre. The story follows a tech-savvy couple who return to their remote ancestral home, only to encounter a mysterious elderly woman and uncover a chilling secret connected to a village tragedy.

Dear Radhi – SunNXT (March 6)
Dear Radhi is a romantic drama centred on a shy young man who struggles with relationships. A chance meeting with a woman battling her own demons leads to a heartfelt day that changes both their lives.

With Love – Netflix (March 6)
With Love is a teen romantic comedy starring Abishan Jeevinth and Anaswara Rajan. The story follows two former schoolmates who reconnect during a blind date. As they revisit unresolved feelings from their past, they embark on a journey to confront old love stories, and perhaps discover something new between them.


Devagudi – SunNXT (March 3)
Devagudi is an action-adventure drama that focuses on three childhood friends whose bond is shaken by caste divisions, power struggles and personal ambition.

Dheeram – SunNXT (March 6)
Dheeram stars Indrajith Sukumaran in a gripping psychological thriller. The film follows a police officer investigating a string of mysterious murders while wrestling with moral dilemmas and questions of justice.
