Jumboking MD meditates daily; tunes in to the Ashtavakra Gita recital on Sundays
Dheeraj Gupta shares his mantra for a healthy body, mind and soul.

"I find that yoga has improved both my running and my meditation. I work out all seven days a week; but I vary it a lot.
Running, twice a week. Core strength exercises thrice a week. Yoga twice a week. Meditation all seven days," he says.
Gupta eats whatever he wants to. "It is my one indulgence. As a runner, I value the carbs I eat and try to keep it as delicious as possible- mindful eating and complete indulgence can make food an enjoyable experience," he says.
On the drive to office; Gupta makes sure he listens to an audio-book. "Obviously, one audio-book may take a couple of weeks to finish; but I keep at it. The first thing I have every morning is a dose of neem, turmeric and Omega 3. This is followed by a bowl of pomegranate and some almonds. This is the health dose. Through the day, I stay conscious of the quantity I eat, though I eat all kinds of things," he says.
For his soul, Gupta listens to the Ashtavakra Gita every Sunday- it is recited by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. "If the Bhagavad Geeta is about Dharma during war, the AshtaVakra Gita is about Dharma during peace. It examines the mind, ego, conflict, and the self with the unparalleled insight and depth that only a master can offer," he ends.
