Apple has launched the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max as its latest premium smartphones, putting the two models up against Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra. While all three phones target buyers looking for top-end performance, cameras and AI features, Apple and Samsung have taken different approaches to their flagship devices.

The iPhone 18 Pro is the smaller option, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max matches the Galaxy S26 Ultra more closely in size. Apple focuses on its new 2nm A20 Pro chip, camera upgrades, Apple Intelligence and tighter hardware-software integration. Samsung, meanwhile, offers a large AMOLED display, a 200MP camera system, S Pen support and faster wired charging.

Price

Apple has priced the iPhone 18 Pro at $1,199, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at $1,299. Both base models come with 256GB storage. The Galaxy S26 Ultra launched at a lower starting price in some markets, although its final price depends on storage and regional offers.
