Indians laziest on Sundays; men and women burn most calories on weekdays

People choose to brisk walk and run to stay healthy, and keep lifestyle diseases away.

More than 1.4 billion adults (a quarter of the world’s adult population) are putting themselves at heightened risk of heart diseases, diabetes and cancer by not getting enough exercise, according to a recent report by WHO.

A third of women and a quarter of men worldwide are in the firing line for these killer conditions unless they up their physical activity.
