A cricket match between India and Pakistan is nothing short of a spectacle for millions on both sides of the border. There is excitement and emotions run amok throughout the game.

Something similar was witnessed on Sunday when India and Pakistan clashed at the Group A match of the ongoing Asia Cup 2022. India won the high-octane match beating Pakistan by five wickets.

The second match of the 15th edition of Asia Cup was trending on all social media platforms. The match generated significant interest with Hotstar reporting over 1.7 crore viewership beating its previous records. Social media too buzzed with commentaries, reactions and memes. Interestingly, the stream of memes were from all over the world.

The highly-anticipated match saw India winning the toss and choosing to field. Pakistan was in for a massive blow after Bhuvneshwar Kumar dismissed captain Babar Azam for 10 runs. Pakistan managed to score 147 runs in 19.5 overs. Incidentally, this was also Virat Kohli’s 100th T20I match.
