The video, entitled "so long nerds" was shared with his 10 million followers. In the video, Technoblade's father calls him "the most amazing kid anyone could ever ask for."
In the last video posted on Google-owned platform, the YouTuber said: "Hello everyone, Technoblade here. If you're watching this, I am dead."
He also thanked all his supporters for constantly supporting his content over the years. "If I had another 100 lives, I think I would choose to be Technoblade again every single time, as those were the happiest years of my life," the YouTuber said.
The US internet star attracted major attention for his live streams where he played Minecraft. He also posted several videos of himself playing the sandbox video game. In 2021, the YouTuber revealed to his fans that he had been diagnosed with cancer. He had joked in the video about how his "chemotherapy arc is going to be fantastic for content".
"Nobody took the news worse than my health insurance provider - they've been inconsolable for weeks," he had said.
Very little is known about the Internet sensation, who kept his identity hidden until recently. His online avatar was a picture of a crowned pig.
During an interview with The Verge, Alex's father said that he doesn't think his son said everything he wanted to say. "But I think he got the main points. He finished that up and then he was done. He lived about another eight hours after that," Technoblade's father said.
In a message, Technoblade's family said a portion of all sales of his merchandise would be donated to the charity, the Sarcoma Foundation of America.
