Hyderabad court to hear Samantha Ruth Prabhu's defamation case against YouTube channels today
The actress had filed defamation case against a few YouTube channels streaming videos that "maligned her character".

A court in Hyderabad will hear the matter today after it had earlier refused to speed up the proceedings. Samantha had also filed a legal notice against an advocate named Venkat Rao, who had allegedly spoken about her marital life while alleging that she had affairs.
Post her divorce from Chaitanya, Samantha has been on the receiving end with several sensational reports making the rounds on social media, while the actress reportedly was also being bullied on the Internet.
In the wake of the social media trial, the actress had earlier released a press note addressing the rumours alleging that she was having affairs and have had abortions in the past. Samantha, in her statement, shut down the trolls as she slammed the negative comments against her which have been making rounds online ever since the separation news broke out.
"They say I had affairs, never wanted children, that I am an opportunist and now that I have had abortions. A divorce in itself is an extremely painful process. Let alone allowing me the time to heal," Samantha wrote on Twitter, adding that she will not let this break her.

"To all our well-wishers. After much deliberation and thought Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well-wishers and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on. Thanking you for your support," the statement read.
