Samantha Prabhu heads to the hills on Yamunotri trek, seeks solace at The Beatles Ashram in Rishikesh
The actress was accompanied by fashion designer-friend Shilpa Reddy for the 2-day trip.

The 34-year-old actress planned an elaborate trip to Uttarakhand with her best friend and fashion designer, Shilpa Reddy.
Prabhu, who announced her separation from husband Naga Chaitanya earlier this month, took to Instagram to share the best travel moments with her 19.4 million followers. She visited all four pilgrimage sites of the Char Dham Yatra - Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath - on a helicopter.

On Friday evening, the actress performed aarti on the banks of river Ganges.
Prabhu left on Thursday and concluded the trip on Saturday.
The 'Family Man 2' star said that she was always fascinated by the Himalayas, and this trip was a breathtaking experience for her.
Ending her 'amazing trip', the actress wrote, "Ever since I read the Mahabharata, it has been a dream to visit this paradise on Earth, a place of great mystery, the abode of Gods."
"It has been everything I hoped it would be. Serene and majestic .. a complex confusion between myth and reality. The Himalayas will have a special place in my heart," she added.
The actress was thrilled to stand where 'The Beatles' once did. "At Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s ashram where they (The Beatles) practised 'Transcendental Meditation' and wrote 48 of their famous songs," she wrote.
She spent her day at the ashram's meditation centre, and read a book by Ruskin Bond.

Prabhu also felt grateful during her trip. Quoting her mother, she shared an Insta Story. "Be thankful for what you are now, and keep fighting for what you want to be tomorrow."
