Serhiy Volyna, commander of the 36th Separate Marine Brigade, took to Twitter to seek help from Musk and asked the billionaire to help them get out of Azovstal to a mediating country.
"If not you, then who? Give me a hint," he wrote. Volyna created a Twitter account with the sole purpose of reaching out to Musk for help.
"People say you come from another planet to teach people to believe in the impossible," Volyna's tweet said, adding "Our planets are next to each other, as I live where it is nearly impossible to survive."

The 50-year-old billionaire in had February said that his company SpaceX's Starlink satellite broadband service was activated in Ukraine after a Kyiv official urged him to provide his war-torn country with stations.
