Maye also revealed that her parents visited the Taj Mahal from South Africa in 1954.

Musk had also visited the Red Fort along with the Taj Mahal in 2007 during his trip to India.
"It is amazing. I visited in 2007 and also saw the Taj Mahal, which truly is a wonder of the world," Musk tweeted.
Interestingly, Musk's mother Maye also shared some fun facts with fans on Twitter, revealing that many in their family have visited the world heritage site.
In a tweet posted just a few hours ago today, Maye revealed that her parents visited the Taj Mahal from South Africa in 1954 during their trip to Australia. She further informed that only a few people flew in a single-engine propeller plane which back then operated without a radio or GPS.
"In 1954, your grandparents flew to the Taj Mahal from South Africa, on their way to Australia. The only people to ever do this trip in a single-engine propeller plane, without a radio or GPS. Their motto “Live dangerously…. carefully,” she replied to Musk's tweet.

— Vijay Shekhar Sharma (@vijayshekhar) 1652122025000Sharma isn't the first businessman to invite Musk to India. Earlier, the CEO of Serum Institute of India, Adar Poonawalla had asked the SpaceX boss to start manufacturing Tesla vehicles in India if the Twitter deal doesn't go through.
"Hey Elon Musk, just in case you don't end up buying Twitter, do look at investing some of that capital in INDIA for high-quality large-scale manufacturing of @Tesla cars. I assure you this will be the best investment you'll ever make," Poonawalla had said in a tweet.
