Ever since Elon Musk took over Twitter in a $44 billion cash deal, people around the world have been busy wondering what's next for the micro-blogging platform, employees and the recently appointed CEO Parag Agrawal.

Many have been wondering whether Musk's entry would mean Agrawal's exit, and the Twitter CEO has finally answered the million-dollar question.

The CEO is pretty relaxed and has full faith of surviving the recent management change. The 37-year-old took to the micro-blogging platform to reply to a few tweets and assure people that he isn't going anywhere soon.

A parody account @NotParagAgrawal tweeted on Thursday that said "I thought we were fired", to which the Twitter CEO replied, "Nope! we are still here."

The reticent Agrawal also launched into what analysts interpret as a dare. Agrawal had earlier said that he took the job to better, and to course correct where they need to and strengthen the service. Taking a shot at all the recent buzz surrounding Musk - Twitter and him, Agrawal further applauded the micro-blogging platform's staff for continuing to "do the work with focus and urgency despite the noise".

Another Twitter user also showed concern over the platform's future and Agrawal's place in it. "I feel for the current ceo of Twitter (@paraga) - he had all these plans and now lives with the same uncertainty of his whole team," the person wrote, to which Agrawal replied asking the Twitter user to not feel for him.

"Thank you but don't feel for me. What matters most is the service and the people improving it," Agrawal wrote.
