Bosses listen up: sending your employees on business trips is actually good for business. Travelling for work is part of most of our jobs and a recent survey across India, the United States and China shows that 90 per cent of Indians feel motivated to get more work done when they are travelling for business.

Nearly 72 percent of Indian business travellers feel pressured to work longer hours when travelling for business. But it’s not just all work for them, as 91 percent view business travel as a time to re-energise both professionally and personally. In fact, 90 per cent say business travel has taught them skills they can use to solve challenges in their personal life. And when you don’t have home responsibilities to take care of, many in the survey said that they indulge in a little pampering. Around 61 per cent of biz travellers try local cuisine and 33 percent admitted to binge watching TV.
