Come Board exams, and students all over the country feel highly stressed. Parents are no exception. Despite the constant reminders from politicians and others that unhealthy obsession with high scores can be detrimental for the child, several parents are seen encouraging their children to ‘study hard’.

India Inc honcho and Marico Chairman, Harsh Mariwala, took to Twitter to share a letter from the principal of a school which has gone viral.

The letter urged the respective parents of the children to not take away the self-respect and the dignity of their kids if they do not manage to score well. It also asked the parents to stop stressing on the importance of marks and love their kids irrespective of what they score.

The Marico chairman was all praise for the letter. He also candidly admitted that he was never a "straight A’s student". "I emphatically agree that marks aren't everything," wrote the entrepreneur.

“It’s not a person but an entity called QIL. It’s based on a BBC quiz show I used to watch called QI [run by Stephen Fry] and they tweet some really interesting stuff each day. If you look at my timeline, you’ll see I retweet a few of their tweets. Recently, they had tweeted a quote from Stephen Hawking, which said that even those who believe in destiny, look before they cross the road. I thought that was a very quantum observation, so I retweeted it.”
