Yashaswini Samat, MD of GREY Group, says being happy and having a positive outlook is her idea of good health.

Body
“For me, health is an overall sense of well-being. It includes good sleep, energy through the day, and a positive outlook. In fact, I would say I am healthy when I am happy, and not the other way around. I enjoy good food and whether at home or work, I don’t starve. I eat what I like and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. When I travel, I continue to follow a similar dietary pattern. I carry some nuts or energy bars to cover missed meals, which do happen sometimes. I go to the gym quite regularly on days when I am not travelling. I have a personal trainer who helps me with the right workout every day, more for toning my body than to follow a punishing routine. When I am travelling, I tend to walk a lot and assume that it would make up for the lack of a gym work-out. In today’s airports, you end up walking a lot. I love to spend time indulging myself in spa therapies, both for hair and body. This is also my ‘me time’ when I focus on myself and take stock of my day.”

Mind
“I am a worrier, so I try to stay positive and solution-oriented even during tough times. My go-to therapy during these times is strong physical activity and conversations with my husband. I also enjoy a good book in the thriller/humour genres."

Soul
“I don’t do the classic spiritual things like meditation or yoga. But I am a firm believer in spreading joy — both at home and at work. I take time out to do things that refresh and energise me, be it exploring museums or visiting new places during holidays, or watching interesting shows or engaging with fashion. I am grateful for having the opportunities I have, and try to make the most of them, so that I have an enriched life experience for myself and can spread some happiness around me.”

Mukesh Ambani's Rs 15 Cr Salary Isn't As Interesting: These Top Bosses Earn More Than Him
1/13

Mukesh Ambani
Chairman and MD, RIL
Pay package: Rs 15 crore

When your net worth is approximately $50 billion, a no pay hike isn’t a major cause for concern. In fact, at that level, an annual salary figure of Rs 15 crore itself could feel like pocket change — even though this compensation includes salary and allowances, perquisites, retiral benefits and commission.

“Compensation of Shri Mukesh D. Ambani, chairman and managing director, has been set at Rs 15 crore, reflecting his desire to continue to set a personal example for moderation in managerial compensation levels,” says RIL’s annual report for 2018-19.

Reliance promoters also received a dividend of Rs 1,778 crore (approx).

Here are some top ranking C-suite members (within the non-promoter group), and are still higher on the salary front in FY19.
