Google celebrates start of Asian Games 2018 with colourful doodle
All 45 nations of Olympic Council of Asia will be competing in this mega event.

The 18th edition of the Asian Games has begun and today’s doodle by Google is dedicated to it.
It celebrates the beginning of the Asian Games 2018, which is also referred to as Asiad.
The Asian Games are held every four years, and this time, it is co-hosted by Jakarta and Palembang, in Indonesia.
The torch relay for 2018 Asian games began at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in New Delhi, host of the 1st Asian Games.

At Asian Games 2018, athletes from 45 countries will participate. This year, the Games will see the introduction of non-physical events, i.e. esports, or competitive video games.
Over 572 athletes from India are going to participate at Asian Games. Out of the 40 sports in the fray, the Indian contingent will compete in 36 of them, spanning over 41 events.
