No-show at Gold Coast, but Sakshi Malik optimistic about Asian Games
A new chapter awaits her in Jakarta Palembang at the Asian Games in August-September.

Explaining what went wrong in Gold Coast, Malik said, “Many times it also has to do with the luck of the draw. At the Commonwealth Games, maybe I didn’t have luck on my side and it wasn’t my time to shine. [But] Now I have that in the past.”
A new chapter awaits her in Jakarta Palembang at the Asian Games in August-September. Malik has been working hard in the gym and on the wrestling mat. “Looking forward to the Asian Games, my goal is to work on improving my mental, physical and emotional strength,” she said.
