Olympic medallist Sakshi Malik ties the knot. A match like no other

Months after wrestler Geeta Phogat tied the knot, it was Olympic bronze medallist Sakshi Malik who recently took the plunge.

Malik got married to fellow wrestler Satyawart Kadian, who is a Commonwealth Games medallist, on April 2 in Rohtak.

Just like her engagement last year, the wedding ceremony was a private af fair. Malik only shared a few pictures on social media.

The wedding rituals took place early in the morning, with Malik looking resplendent in a red lehenga.

Kadian was dressed in traditional garb — kurta, dhoti and a turban.

As wishes poured in on Twitter, Virender Sehwag too had a special message :“Wish you a very happy married life Sakshi Malik.

Couldn’t make it because of IPL camp.

Best wishes for a life of joy and no kushti at home,” he tweeted.
