From Google's Rajan Anandan to Flipkart's Sachin Bansal, manage your to-do list like a CEO
Ever wondered how most successful business people are so well organised? With the help of the good old checklist, that's how. We got corporate leaders to reveal their secrets to managing time and their tasks for the day.

Binny Bansal, Group CEO, Flipkart

"Chalking out a to-do list is my Sunday ritual. I usually like to plan for the week ahead and Sunday is the chosen day. I do a quick check on what is pending and start working towards ticking them off first. However, high priority is given to my morning exercise regimen. Either I play basketball or work out in the gym. This daily dose of fitness precedes any mail or meeting on my list."

Naveen Tewari, Founder, InMobi

"Things that have not made it to the to-do list in a long time are added and implemented. For me, health has become top priority. So, my gym workout takes the default number one spot on the daily list of things to do."

Ajit Isaac, Chairman, Quess Corp

"I always keep a memo pad on my bedside table so that I can put down a task that I may remember even in the middle of the night. I typically spend the first half of my morning reading emails. I am not on mission control, but a list is important to trash away what I really don't need to pay attention to."

"The key to a good list is not to push any activity to a later date. Postponing a task only adds to your stress. I am an early riser. So, my to-do list starts with listing tasks from 5 am onwards. I catch up with news and new apps. I usually like to read and sit for meditation before I begin my work schedule."

Rajan Anandan, Vice-president, South East Asia & India, Google

"First, I need to figure out which city I am actually waking up in to be able to pen down a to-do list. I like to keep my check list as short as possible as it helps me focus and deliver efficiently."

Sachin Bansal, Co-founder, Flipkart

"I never prepare an elongated to-do list. It will always have less than 10 tasks. I like to keep it short with just one or two high priority tasks that need immediate attention. The shorter the list, the better the focus. I prepare it every morning looking at my calendar and set the agenda for the day. I am a planned sort of person."
