The 2019 ET Startup Awards took place on Friday and was all about top bosses engaging in conversations and celebrating budding entrepreneurs of the country.

Among the first ones to go up and greet him was Delhivery co-founder Sahil Barua, whose ‘hello’ was met with Krishnamurthy exclaiming, "You are half the size of what I left you!" Just a few moments earlier, when ETPanache asked the lean and lithe Barua about his goals for 2020, he said, “Getting into fitness in a big way.”

Cheering squad Your family is your biggest cheerleader, they say, and it stands true for Klay Schools CEO Priya Krishnan, who bagged The ET Startup Award for the ‘Woman Ahead’ category. Krishnan was accompanied by her family, including her cheery little boys, who wanted to clap for their mom when she went up on stage. Standing in a corner ahead of the event, the siblings were discussing how best to cheer. “I think we should say “’Woohoo’ and clap very loudly," the young one suggested. The elder one diligently followed the plan.
