Dorsey nicknamed ‘Jackie No Edits’; uses it in his own Twitter handle

Twitterati have been clamouring for an edit button for a while now, but if CEO Jack Dorsey’s new Twitter handle is anything to go by, it could be a while yet. Recently, Dorsey was given the nickname ‘Jackie No Edits’ by a popular television network as part of a promotion activity. Dorsey was so thrilled with the moniker that he immediately used it as his Twitter handle, much to the amusement of users.
Twitter's recent move of removing millions of suspicious account in its battle against fake new has led to many celebrities, politicians and social media influencers losing followers.
The move didn't spare Twitter's own account either, as the social media's official handle lost about 12 percent of its total followers - about 7.7 million.

In the past, Dorsey has been vague about adding an edit button. “There’s a bunch of things we could do to show how a tweet has been changed… We’ve been considering edit for quite some time but we have to do it in the right way,” he had said in November.
While Dorsey mulls over the decision, the ‘no edit’ conversation is gathering momentum with some Twitter fans. One user tweeted to Dorsey recently: “A world with edits would be a dull place. I couldn’t start my day with my morning covfefe.”
