Alia-Ranbir’s wedding: Baraat from ‘Krishna Raj’, Mickey Contractor to do couple’s make-up & more

The big day for which ralia fans were waiting with baited breath is finally here. Actress Alia Bhatt is all set to tie the knot with Ranbir Kapoor, in the actor’s erstwhile bachelor pad ‘Vastu’ tomorrow. The couple’s wedding is touted to be a star-studded affair if the mehendi ceremony, held on Wednesday is any indication.

Baraat Details
According to a report in Hindustan Times, Ranbir’s baraat (wedding procession) will leave from ‘Krishna Raj’ and arrive at ‘Vastu’ for the wedding ceremony. The soon-to-be bride-and-groom, who had a vibrant and colorful mehendi ceremony with both families and industry friends in attendance, will get ready with the help of veteran Bollywood make-up artist Mickey Contractor. Contractor will reportedly take care of both hair as well as cosmetics for the couple.

As paparazzi shots have already revealed Sabyasachi bags have arrived at the bride’s house. Media reports also confirm that Bhatt will be seen wearing both Sabyasachi and Manish Malhotra at the wedding.

Tight Security And A Non-Disclosure Agreement
An India Today report claims that the couple who are very concerned about privacy have made their respective teams sign non-disclosure agreements to avoid leaks about the wedding. Paparazzi photos show that whoever is entering ‘Vastu’ has to get their phone cameras covered with small red stickers so that they cannot take pictures too. Security teams have been recruited and parts of the building has been cordoned off so that pararazzi do not get a clear view.

Langar At Gurudwara
Although the couple won’t be physically present at the Gurudwara, media reports claim that a langar will be arranged on behalf of the stars on the auspicious occasion of their wedding.

'Brahmastra' Update
As the couple heads to the altar, their close friend and film-maker Ayan Mukerji recently took to Instagram to confirm the news of the wedding that everyone had been suspecting. The director shared a song video featuring Alia and Ranbir from his upcoming film, 'Brahmastra' and wrote an emotional note alongside.

He said, “For Ranbir and For Alia! And… For this Sacred Journey they are going to embark on soon ! Ranbir and Alia… my closest and dearest people in this world… my happy place, and my safe place… who have added everything to my life… and given themselves completely and selflessly to our movie…! We just had to share a piece of their union, from our movie, from our song Kesariya, to Celebrate them… as a Gift to them, and to Everyone!!" The team of ‘Brahmastra’ also wished the couple love and light.

A Gold-Plated Bouquet From A Fan
Fans too, were not far behind in showering their love for the star couple. Reportedly a jeweler from Surat brought a gold-plated bouquet for the two on the occasion of their wedding. The video of this fan is currently circulating on the social media.
