He also highlighted a traditional preparation known as Sol Kanji, a fermented rice-based dish typically consumed in the morning. Made with overnight-soaked rice and paired with ingredients like onions, green chillies, curd, and a light tempering, the dish is known for its cooling effect on the body. According to him, it helps regulate heat, keeps the stomach satisfied, and creates a sense of calm, even if it sometimes leaves him feeling relaxed enough to slow down afterwards.
