A month after Oscars slapgate, Will Smith hits therapy mode; may appear on David Letterman's chat show
During the Oscars 2022, Smith slapped comedian Chris Rock for cracking a joke on his wife, Jada.

According to a report in Entertainment Tonight, the 53-year-old has been going to therapy after the Oscars incident which led to the actor being banned from the prestigious award ceremony for 10 years.
There are also reports suggesting that the actor will make his first on-screen appearance on David Letterman's chat show titled 'My Next Guest Needs No Introduction', which will reportedly go live on May 20.
The actor was in India last month. Smith was spotted at a private airport in Mumbai for the first time since the Academy Awards slapgate. According to reports, the star was in India on a spiritual journey and to practice yoga and meditation.
During the live telecast of the Oscars 2022 ceremony, Smith had slapped comedian Chris Rock after he joked about Jada Pinkett Smith's bald head, which is caused by alopecia, a medical condition that leads to hair loss.
Smith later apologised to Rock for reacting "emotionally" and had also resigned from the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences.
In his statement, 'Focus' star said that "Change takes times, and I am committed to doing the work to ensure that I never again allow violence to overtake reason."
