A lensman's delight! OnePlus 10 Pro cameras promise richer colours, 150-ultrawide

OnePlus is making sure that the run-up to the launch of its latest flagship is exciting. The brand has tweeted pictures shot from the latest smartphone set to be launched on January 11.

The stunning pictures are a testament to the latest phones upgraded cameras and image processing abilities.

The brand has revealed that the OnePlus 10 Pro's rear camera module will look largely similar to its predecessor. However, the 10 Pro series will have a slew of improvements that will enhance the quality of photos. OnePlus strongly feels that the new improvements will benefit both casual users and photography enthusiasts.


While on Wednesday OnePlus co-founder Pete Lau revealed the detailed specifications of the new phone, a few days earlier it was confirmed that the new series will feature a triple-camera module with Hasselblad-tuned shooters. This is the second time OnePlus is uniting with the Swedish brand for its flagship smartphone.
According to the brand, the OnePlus 10 Pro's cameras will be able to capture more vibrant colours, have a more refined Pro Mode to save images in RAW+ format. It will also allow users to tweak video settings while recording.

The second-generation Hasselblad triple rear camera setup comes with a Dual OIS. The rear camera module will include a 48MP sensor, a 50MP sensor, and an 8MP sensor. The new phone also flaunts a 32MP front camera ideal for video calls and selfies. Its ultrawide camera with a 150-degree field of view will come in handy for capturing more subjects in the frame than ever.

With Hasselblads continuous improvements, the OnePlus 10 Pro phones will benefit greatly from its cameras. While normal photos are captured in 10-bit colour, the company claims that the new devices will capture and process more colour than its previous line-up. Besides, the video mode has undergone significant improvements too, users can tweak ISO and shutter speeds while recording to manage depth, light and other aspects.
