OnePlus 10 Pro features Hasselblad triple camera setup, co-founder Pete Lau teases slick new colours

Ahead of the launch of the OnePlus 10 Pro, co-founder Pete Lau has confirmed that the new phone will feature a Hasselblad triple camera setup. The new smartphone is all set to be launched on January 11 in China.

Lau also teased the first look of the OnePlus 10 Pro. This is the second time that OnePlus is partnering with Hasselblad, the Swedish photography company. Earlier, the OnePlus 9 series flaunted the collaboration of the company with Hasselblad.

"We've worked hard on multiple upgrades to create a truly well-rounded flagship with the OnePlus 10 Pro. Here's a first look. Personally, I love the refreshed new OnePlus x Hasselblad camera module," said Lau in his tweet.

The image shared by Lau boasts the unique square camera module with four cutouts for cameras and LED flash. The module has the Hasselblad branding and it wraps around the OnePlus 10 Pro. One Plus branding can be seen on the back, and the alert slider can be seen on the right side along with the power button.

The brand has also shared a short video revealing the two colours Volcanic Black and Emerald Forest. The pre-registration listing has confirmed that the phone will be launched in China on January 11.

According to the OnePlus official website, the Volcanic Black colour is inspired by an endless sea of sand dunes under a moonlit sky while the Emerald Forest captures the essence of the first-morning sunray transforming dew into shimmering crystals.

The new models come with a fusion of mirrored ceramic and matte frosted glass. The smartphone maker has stated that the fracture toughness of ceramic is 13 times that of glass.

Meanwhile, OnePlus has also confirmed the launch of OnePlus 9RT in India on January 14.
