HDFC Bank picks advertising agency Leo Burnett for new brand campaign

HDFC Bank has mandated advertising agency Leo Burnett with its creative duties, following a multi-agency pitch.

MUMBAI: HDFC Bank has mandated advertising agency Leo Burnett with its creative duties, following a multi-agency pitch.

Havas is the incumbent agency of the bank, which will launch an ad campaign after a gap of five years. The bank has earmarked more than Rs 30 crore for its first integrated brand campaign that will be implemented by Leo Burnett.

The campaign titled 'Har Zaroorat Poori Ho Chutki Mein, Bank Aapki Muthi Mein' aims to position HDFC Bank as a premier digital bank in India.

"Customer centricity is key to our marketing success. Going forward, we want to intensify our focus on highlighting how digital banking is enabling customer convenience," said Kartik Jain, executive vice president at HDFC Bank.

"We have been at the forefront of launching services that use the latest technologies to benefit our customers. We wanted to partner an agency that understands consumer behaviour effectively," he said.
