Bigg Boss is entering the festive season with six language editions and a growing mix of national, regional and first-time advertisers. The expansion comes as brands look beyond Hindi television for reach, with regional-language programming becoming a bigger part of their media spending.

The six editions feature names from Indian entertainment and sports world, with Salman Khan hosting the Hindi edition, Sourav Ganguly the Bangla edition, Vijay Sethupathi the Tamil edition, Nagarjuna the Telugu edition, Kiccha Sudeep the Kannada edition and Mohanlal the Malayalam edition.

Mahesh Shetty, Head of Entertainment Sales – TV at JioStar, said the Bigg Boss franchise has expanded to six language editions this festive season which includes different versions for Hindi, Bangla, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages. He said the franchise had reached more than 500 million viewers in 2025, with over 438 billion viewing minutes and a 47% year-on-year increase in engagement across the six editions.

Shetty said nearly 100 sponsors had come on board across the editions, including both existing advertisers and brands advertising on Bigg Boss for the first time.
