Hansa Cequity raises Rs 30 cr from ASK Pravi

MUMBAI: Hansa Cequity, the data analytics and market research company of the RK Swamy Hansa Group, has said it has raised Rs 30 crore from private equity firm ASK Pravi to fund its expansion plan. This is Cequity’s first round of fundraising and Pravi’s sixth investment.

"We are looking at global expansion into key markets where data-driven marketing is increasingly gaining attention of CMOs and CIOs," said Ajay Kelkar, COO of Cequity. "By 2017, CMOs are expected to invest more in marketing technology than CIOs. This will help us bring-in cross learnings and global best practices across developed and emerging markets." People familiar with the development said that Pravi, which invests mostly in unlisted companies, has picked up a minority stake in Cequity with its investment.
