RBI names SBI, ICICI systemically important banks
RBI has named SBI and ICICI Bank as systemically important banks. The RBI said size, interconnectedness, lack of readily available substitutes or financial institution infrastructure and complexity will determine the systemic importance of banks as determined by Basel global standards.
