The ‘work from home’ dilemma: Sachin Bansal isn't a fan of WFH, leaves Twitter divided with his opinion

Though companies are asking their employees to isolate themselves and work from home to guard against the spreading coronavirus pandemic, not everybody is a fan of the concept. Flipkart co-founder Sachin Bansal clearly isn’t. “WFH sucks,” Bansal tweeted recently.
He was soon bombarded with responses from his followers. And judging by their content, the world is divided in its view about working from home. While some think it increases productivity, with fewer distractions, others opined that there are far more distractions at home [the doorbell rings too many times was a popular example], and some even found it depressing.
Bansal’s view, however, was that work-from-home diminished his productivity. Many chose to focus on the necessity of the practice in the current situation, while some highlighted the reality that not everybody even has an option.
On the back of a multi-billion dollar Flipkart takeover by Walmart, this American family-owned business and its many stakeholders have added even more to their already overflowing coffers.

This Walton is richest in the family and has a net worth of around $ 48.4 billion. He was the 16th richest person in the world in March this year. The youngest son of Helen and Sam Walton, the founders of Walmart, Jim is a board member of this family-owned company as well as the chairman of Arvest Bank, owned by the family and also newspaper firm Community Publishers Inc (CPI).
