Co-founder, Flipkart

“I have seen many great entrepreneurs going for small opportunities. People in the startup world need to aim big and think long-term. India is young, but the fastest growing economy in the world. If you think long-term, a lot of opportunities can be cracked.”

“More people should start up right after college. One can take maximum risk when he or she starts out young. Graduates should take advantage of those two-three critical years. This approach will yield phenomenal results and give birth to more unicorns.”

“The perception. On the one hand, we praise the startup ecosystem but on the other, people still believe that startups are a riskier place to join. I think that perception needs to change.

Yes, startups are riskier, but what you learn there is much better and faster than what you would learn in a traditional company.”

Focus on your business, not commentary.” This wasn’t their first Twitter spat, with shots being fired in mid-2015.

With the two engaged in a public war of words, here are other top leaders from the tech world who weren’t afraid to butt heads.
