Haryana Assembly Elections: BJP MP Naveen Jindal reaches polling station on a horse to cast his vote
BJP MP Naveen Jindal made a unique entrance at a polling station in Kurukshetra on Saturday, arriving on horseback to cast his vote in the Haryana Assembly elections.

Speaking to the media after voting, Jindal expressed his optimism, stating, "There is a great deal of enthusiasm among voters. We are very happy to see the high turnout, and I am confident that the brave and informed people of Haryana will bless the BJP. Haryana will support the BJP, and Nayab Singh Saini will once again become Chief Minister."


Explaining why he chose to arrive on horseback, Jindal shared, "Riding a horse is considered auspicious, which is why I came on horseback. My mother, Savitri Jindal, is running from Hisar, and she has a lot of plans for the region. It will be up to the people of Hisar to choose their representative."

When asked about the potential Chief Ministerial candidate, Jindal acknowledged Anil Vij as a prominent leader in the party but noted that "time will tell" who ultimately takes the top position.

Haryana Assembly Elections 2024

Voting in all 90 Assembly constituencies across Haryana kicked off on Saturday morning, with officials confirming that security is tight. More than two crore eligible voters are set to determine the political future of key figures like Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Congress leaders Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Vinesh Phogat, JJP’s Dushyant Chautala, along with 1,027 other candidates.

In total, 1,031 candidates are in the race, including 101 women and 464 Independents.
