CWG 2026: India adds 2 more medals in weightlifting as Gyaneshwari wins Silver, Bindiya bags Bronze

India's medal tally at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2026 continues to grow as weightlifters Gyaneshwari Yadav and Bindyarani Devi delivered impressive performances. Gyaneshwari clinched her maiden Commonwealth Games silver medal, while Bindyarani Devi secured a bronze medal for India. Speaking after her achievement, Gyaneshwari credited Olympic medallist Mirabai Chanu ("Mira Didi") as her inspiration.
