Jaishankar calls for reformed multilateralism, transparency at UNGA 81; joins first V4+India meet

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar has called for stronger and reformed multilateralism at the 81st UN General Assembly, amid growing geopolitical tensions and conflicts. Speaking at the inaugural Partners for Multilateralism Summit in New York, Jaishankar stressed the need to reform international institutions and make them more participative and transparent. He also underlined the importance of international law, rules and norms in strengthening global cooperation.
