Jaishankar at UNGA 81 flags ‘4F crisis’, calls for global action; joins historic V4+India meet

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar has held a series of high-level diplomatic engagements in New York on the sidelines of the 81st UN General Assembly. He participated in the first V4+India foreign ministers’ meeting with Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, where cooperation and India’s UNSC bid were discussed. Jaishankar also met the foreign ministers of France, Slovakia and Ecuador, and Nauru President David Adeang. At the Partners for Multilateralism Summit, he flagged the global “4F crisis” of fuel, fertilisers, food and finance.
