The recovery included 13 mobile phones, Apple AirPods worth Rs 22,000, Bluetooth devices, smartwatches, perfumes, clothing and personal care products. According to IANS, police said the parcels had allegedly been stolen around 15 days before the arrest. The case originated in Surat, where the accused worked as a delivery agent, while the recovery took place in Bhavnagar.
How police caught the Flipkart delivery agent
Police identified the accused as Rutvik Makwana, also known as Koli. The Bhavnagar Local Crime Branch received information that a man was selling mobile phones and other products without bills or supporting documents on a public road near the embankment of Gangajaliya Lake on Motibaug Road.A police team reached the location on October 23 and found Makwana in possession of the goods.
