A fierce political clash has erupted over the future of the Department of Homeland Security. 'Squad' Democrat Delia Ramirez has introduced the Reimagining Safety Act, a sweeping proposal that would dismantle DHS in its current form, abolish ICE and Customs and Border Protection, and create a new Department of Community Safety.
