US President Donald Trump visibly winced as two B-1 bombers roared overhead during Chinese President Xi Jinping’s arrival ceremony at Joint Base Andrews. Xi appeared unfazed by the noise. The planned flyover formed part of a highly choreographed welcome ceremony marking Xi’s three-day state visit to Washington.
