Jharkhand student protest: 'Govt playing double game,' student leader urges unity among protestors

Student leader Ravindra Paswan said the students’ 15-day indefinite protest in Jharkhand seeks cancellation of specific exams, a CBI probe and reforms. He said their first round of talks with the government concluded yesterday, with officials assuring them that their demands would be placed before the Chief Minister and followed by another round of talks. Paswan accused the government of trying to divide the movement by engaging with other organisations, asserting that Jharkhand’s students remain united. He warned that 50,000–100,000 students could join the planned Vidhan Sabha March on the 10th if their demands are not accepted.
