LIC’s ₹16 lakh crore money trail: Top stock buys & biggest exits

LIC deployed around Rs 16,578 crore across its 10 biggest stock additions in the June quarter, led by Bharti Airtel, Maruti Suzuki and ITC. Despite the aggressive buying, LIC’s share of NSE-listed equities fell to an all-time low as the broader market expanded rapidly. Bharti Airtel saw the biggest addition, with LIC buying shares worth an estimated Rs 2,721 crore.
