Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown Ups trailer has finally been unveiled on August 8, giving fans a closer look at Yash’s much-awaited action drama. The film has been making rounds on the internet for its larger-than-life world, star-studded cast and Geetu Mohandas’ direction. As excitement around the movie grows, reports about the remuneration of its cast have also surfaced online. From Yash and Kiara Advani to Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth, here is what various reports claim the actors are earning for the film.

How much Toxic cast is earning?

Yash is at the centre of Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown Ups, which is among the most anticipated projects in his career. The actor plays Raya, a powerful mafia figure in the film, and his look and performance have been major talking points since the promotional material began arriving.

According to a report by Siasat.com, Yash has reportedly been associated with a fee of around Rs 50 crore for the project. However, a separate report by MensXP has claimed that the actor’s remuneration for playing Raya is significantly higher, at Rs 150 crore.

The difference between the two reported figures show the uncertainty surrounding celebrity remuneration figures, which are often based on industry estimates rather than official disclosures. Yash is also one of the producers of Toxic, which means his overall financial arrangement with the film may not follow a straightforward acting-fee structure.

Reports suggest that instead of taking a conventional upfront payment, Yash’s compensation is also linked to the film’s profits. As a result, the amount he eventually earns could depend on the movie’s commercial performance.

Kiara Advani reportedly gets a major salary hike

Kiara Advani is reportedly among the highest-paid members of the Toxic cast. According to multiple online reports cited by KoiMoi, the actress is said to be taking home Rs 15 crore for her role as Nadia.

What has attracted particular attention is the reported increase in her remuneration. Kiara was reportedly paid between Rs 5 crore and Rs 7 crore for her role in Game Changer. Compared with the upper end of that range, her reported Rs 15 crore Toxic fee represents a substantial rise.

Reports have described the jump as a 114% increase in her remuneration. If the reported figures are accurate, the hike reflects the growing demand for the actress, who has appeared in several major Hindi and South Indian productions.

Kiara’s role in Toxic has also added to the curiosity around the film, with her character Nadia being part of the movie’s larger ensemble. However, the makers have not publicly confirmed the individual remuneration figures reported by various media outlets.

Nayanthara is another major name associated with the film. She plays Ganga and has reportedly been paid Rs 12 crore for the role. Her presence further adds to the star power of the project, particularly given her popularity across multiple Indian film industries.

Rukmini Vasanth, who plays Mellisa, is reportedly charging Rs 3 crore for the film. The actress has been gaining attention with her work across South Indian cinema, and Toxic brings her into a much larger ensemble.

Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and more

Huma Qureshi is reportedly playing Elizabeth in Toxic. According to the salary figures doing the rounds online, she has been paid around Rs 2 crore for her role.

Tara Sutaria, who portrays Rebecca, is said to have received between Rs 2 crore and Rs 3 crore. Her inclusion in the cast has added another layer to the film’s ensemble, which features actors from different industries.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic is set in a post-colonial Goa and follows a world dominated by crime and power. Yash’s Raya is positioned as a central figure in this setting, with the film promising action, drama and intense character conflicts.

The movie has reportedly been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English and will also be released in dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. This multilingual release is expected to help the film reach audiences across different markets.

While the reported cast fees have created plenty of discussion, it is important to note that the remuneration figures have not been officially confirmed by the actors or the filmmakers. Different reports have also quoted varying amounts, particularly in Yash’s case. Stay tuned for more updates!
