From a government job to training Bollywood stars

However, his career path looked very different a few years ago.Speaking to The Indian Express, he revealed that he battled health issues before deciding to leave a government job and pursue fitness as a full-time profession. He credited his mentor, bodybuilding and transformation expert Rakkesh R. Uddiyar, for encouraging him to follow his passion despite the challenges.
That decision eventually helped him establish himself as a celebrity fitness coach, earning the trust of several well-known personalities. Dia Mirza recently acknowledged his work by sharing a post featuring him on social media.
Dia Mirza's workout routine focuses on long-term health
According to More, Dia Mirza's approach to fitness goes far beyond looking good on screen. As he told The Indian Express, the actress trains intending to become stronger, healthier and more resilient with age rather than chase quick physical transformations. She works out six days a week, with each session lasting around an hour. Every workout begins with a rebounder warm-up involving jumps and arm movements to prepare the body for exercise while improving circulation.
From there, the sessions include a mix of strength training, functional workouts, mobility drills and flexibility exercises. More explained that he regularly changes the routine to keep the workouts engaging while ensuring the body continues adapting to new challenges.
Apart from gym sessions, the actress also enjoys swimming whenever she gets the opportunity.
Speaking about how Dia approaches fitness in her 40s, More stated that she treats every challenge with enthusiasm and never lets age define her abilities. He said she willingly takes on every new workout he designs, which motivates him to keep raising the difficulty level. According to him, the actress views exercise as a lifelong necessity that helps her remain strong and healthy, rather than something driven by appearance or age.
What's on Dia Mirza's plate?
Fitness, however, is only one part of Dia Mirza's healthy lifestyle. The fitness trailer also shared details about her eating habits. He said, "She follows a predominantly vegetarian diet and believes in balanced nutrition. Hydration is a big priority for her. She focuses on wholesome foods, adequate plant protein and maintaining an alkaline balance. She also avoids refined sugar and gluten. She has a few simple habits. She drinks beetroot and carrot juice before workouts, never skips her warm-up, swims whenever possible, stays hydrated, and eats balanced meals every day. They are simple habits, but consistency is what makes them effective.
According to the trainer, Dia does not believe in crash diets or quick-fix weight-loss methods. Instead, she believes healthy habits should be sustainable enough to continue for years.
That philosophy, he explained, is what makes Dia stand out. Rather than chasing short-term transformations, she focuses on staying healthy, active and capable at every stage of life.
On the professional front, Dia Mirza was recently seen in Ikka, a courtroom drama directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra. The film features an ensemble cast including Sunny Deol, Akshaye Khanna, Tillotama Shome, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Shishir Sharma and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor. Ikka premiered on Netflix on July 10.
