Tamil movie DC box office collection day-wise
According to Sacnilk, DC earned Rs 6.70 crore net in India on Saturday. This is a 52.3% increase over its opening-day collection of Rs 4.40 crore net. The growth on the second day has given the film a better push heading into the rest of its first weekend.With the latest figures added, the film’s India net collection has reached Rs 11.10 crore. Its India gross collection currently stands at Rs 12.74 crore. The film was screened across 3,549 shows on Saturday, indicating a considerable theatrical presence as it entered its first weekend.
The Tamil version remained the biggest contributor to the film’s Day 2 business. It collected Rs 4.55 crore net across India and recorded an overall occupancy of 63.33%. The audience response became stronger as the day progressed, particularly during the night shows.
The Tamil version registered 45.31% occupancy during morning screenings and 67.38% in the afternoon. Evening shows recorded 51.85% occupancy, while the night shows emerged as the strongest-performing slot with 80.38% occupancy. The numbers indicate that the film found greater traction among audiences later in the day.
The Telugu version also made a significant contribution to the film’s second-day earnings. It collected Rs 1.75 crore net across India and recorded an overall occupancy of 42.45%.
The Hindi version, meanwhile, earned Rs 40 lakh on Day 2. Its overall occupancy stood at 12.84%. Together, the Tamil, Telugu and Hindi versions helped take the film’s total Day 2 India net collection to Rs 6.70 crore.
The second-day growth is important for DC, especially after its opening day. A stronger Saturday gives the film a chance to build momentum through Sunday, which could further improve its first-weekend total.
Overseas markets have also added to the film’s overall performance. DC earned Rs 3 crore gross overseas on Day 2. Its overseas gross collection has now reached Rs 5.25 crore.
Combining its India and international earnings, the film’s worldwide gross currently stands at Rs 17.99 crore. With the film already close to the Rs 20 crore milestone, it could cross the mark during the ongoing weekend if the momentum continues.
