New Delhi: Bharti Airtel on Tuesday announced it has enhanced its existing postpaid plans of Rs 999 and above with Apple iCloud+ subscription which includes access to Apple Arcade and Apple TV.

The move is aimed at retaining premium users amidst increasing competition from peers such as Vodafone Idea, by offering value added services alongside data benefits to postpaid users.

Airtel currently leads the industry in average revenue per user, which stands at Rs 264 in the first quarter of FY27. Analysts project Airtel's ARPU to reach Rs 329 by FY29, driven by higher data usage and premiumisation.

"Airtel’s latest postpaid offering combines Apple’s newly expanded iCloud+ offerings, which offers secure storage and sharing of personal content, as well as access to Apple TV’s award-winning originals, and hundreds of incredibly fun games through Apple Arcade. The new offering is available for Airtel customers on family plans of ₹999 and above," the company said in a statement.

The Rs 999 postpaid plan from Airtel offers three users with unlimited data through its 5G network slicing-based Fastlane technology, along with spam protection, and access to over-the-top (OTT) apps.

Similar multi-user postpaid plans from rival Vodafone Idea, priced at Rs 871 and above offers 70GB of mobile data for the primary user and 40 GB for the secondary user along with access to OTT apps.

With the addition of Apple’s iCloud+, Apple TV and Apple Arcade to our family postpaid plan offerings, we are taking this proposition a step further, giving customers even more value and making the Airtel experience more rewarding," said Amit Tripathi, director, marketing ops in a statement.
