VE Commercial Vehicles sales rise 11.6% in September

New Delhi: Auto maker VE Commercial Vehicles today reported 11.6 per cent growth in sales of its Eicher branded products at 3,176 units in September.

The company, which is a 50:50 joint venture between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, had sold 2,847 units in the same month last year.

Domestic sales registered an increase of 17.8 per cent to 2,781 units in September this year as against 2,361 units in the same month year ago, VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) said in a statement.

However, exports of Eicher trucks and buses declined 18.7 per cent to 395 units last month as against 486 units in September 2013, it added.
