A 27-year global war, nuclear attacks involving Iran and the collapse of American economic power by 2028 are among the forecast by John Hogue, the mystic known as “America’s Nostradamus.”

Hogue spent four decades studying the predictions of 16th-century French astrologer Michel de Nostre-Dame, who is better known as Nostradamus and now he warned that growing military tensions could bring the world closer to a nuclear catastrophe.

His predictions also include a prolonged conflict that could devastate energy industries across Western Asia and a severe economic breakdown in the United States. However, these remain Hogue’s interpretations of ancient writings, astrological cycles and current geopolitical developments, not established forecasts of what will happen.

John Hogue Warns of a Possible Nuclear Strike on Iran

Hogue believes a confrontation between the United States and Iran could become a trigger for a wider conflict. He claimed that President Donald Trump was “50-50” about launching a nuclear strike on Iran, according to The Sun report.

He pointed to underground nuclear sites in Iran, including Mount Pickaxe, as potential targets for earth-penetrating nuclear weapons. Hogue warned that an attack could provoke devastating retaliation.

He also predicted that American naval warships could come under attack from Iranian missiles and North Korean attack drones in the Arabian Sea. Aircraft carriers could be heavily damaged or sunk, he claimed, putting thousands of sailors and Marines at risk.

Hogue’s concern is that a prolonged conflict could drain Western countries’ conventional weapons stockpiles, particularly those of the United States. He argued that this could leave tactical and strategic nuclear weapons available for further fighting.

He described the danger as a “Sword of Nuclear Damocles” hanging over humanity by 2028.

The ‘Mabus’ Prophecy Behind America’s Nostradamus’ 27-Year War Warning

One of Hogue’s most alarming predictions is of a mysterious figure called “Mabus” in his interpretation of Nostradamus’ writings. The French astrologer’s passages highlight a figure described as the Third Antichrist and predict a war lasting 27 years.

According to Hogue, Mabus is an anagram for Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, known as MBS. He interprets the prophecy as a warning that the crown prince could die suddenly in an assassination, a palace coup or an explosive jet crash, as per The Sun report.

A translated passage cited in the report refers to the Third Antichrist being destroyed, followed by 27 years of bloodshed, captivity and destruction.

Hogue’s interpretation is that the death of the figure he identifies as Mabus could set off a prolonged conflict that might eventually involve nuclear weapons.

He predicted that, “a 27-year war – maybe going nuclear – eventually destroying all oil helium and natural gas industries across Western Asia,” as quoted by The Sun. He warned that the disruption can cause starvation, thirst, chaos for decades and added, “Throwing the world into an energy catastrophe that unravels the world of people and animals not abating for 27 years after MBS or Mabus was blown to bits.”

Could Russia and NATO Trigger Another Nuclear Conflict

Hogue also warned that the confrontation between Russia and NATO could deepen if European countries intervene directly in Ukraine.

He predicted that Russia could respond with hypersonic strikes against European weapons factories. Such attacks, in his view, could lead to tactical nuclear responses and turn the regional conflict into World War III.

His forecast places the war in Ukraine alongside the potential confrontation involving Iran as possible routes to a much wider conflict.

Why Hogue Believes the US Could Collapse by 2028

Beyond the threat of war, Hogue predicts that the United States will suffer a decisive economic and political collapse by 2028, losing its position as a global superpower.

He believes the roughly 500-year period of Western dominance is entering its decline. His forecast is on a 24-month astrological cycle he calls the “Shofar Silence,” which runs from September 2026 to September 2028.

During this period, Hogue predicts an economic breakdown marked by sharply rising petrol prices, severe diesel shortages and crippling inflation. He also points to mounting national debt, political instability and Trump’s divisive leadership as factors he believes could weaken America’s global influence.

Hogue identifies September 11, 2028, the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, as the date by which he predicts “imperial America will have collapsed.”

Hogue Says His Warnings Are Meant to Encourage Peace

Despite the severity of his predictions, Hogue says he wants his work to serve as a warning to humanity. He hopes the scenarios will encourage people to choose peace over violence.
