The future of Marvin Harrison Jr. at the Arizona Cardinals is looking less certain with the club reportedly planning on trading the 24-year-old wide receiver. Initially considered among the most promising young players in the NFL, Harrison may be set for a move away from Arizona just over two years since the team selected him with the fourth pick of the 2024 NFL Draft. Several teams have been named as interested parties in Harrison, with the Houston Texans being the front-runners. However, two more AFC teams could join the race.

WHO IS MARVIN HARRISON JR.? INSIDE THE CARDINALS STAR'S NFL CAREER

The game of football is deeply embedded in Harrison’s family line. Harrison’s father, Marvin Harrison, is a Pro Football Hall of Famer and played his entire NFL career with the Indianapolis Colts. Harrison Jr. also made a name for himself in football by playing with his father’s team, Ohio State, along with quarterback CJ Stroud.

But things did not go as planned. As per ESPN, Harrison put up 885 receiving yards and eight touchdowns during his rookie year. His stats fell down dramatically in 2025, with 608 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Harrison's performance took a downturn in 2026, where he managed to make only five receptions and put up 85 yards and one touchdown in four games.

The Houston Texans have emerged as one of the most talked-about destinations for Harrison. According to Sports Illustrated, Houston has been prominently linked with the receiver.

Such a move would reunite Harrison with former Ohio State teammate C.J. Stroud and add another weapon to an offense featuring Nico Collins. However, Houston may face competition.

According to Sports Illustrated quoting KPRC2, the possibility of the Raiders relocating to Las Vegas and the Los Angeles Chargers has also been brought up despite the unknown level of interest. The reports indicated that Arizona was still considering potential offers before finalizing a deal.
